This is a fully remote, fixed-term contract position, offered on a daily rate basis.

We are seeking QA Engineers focused on data quality and pipeline testing in the Azure ecosystem to join one of our clients. You will ensure that data powering analytics and AI solutions is accurate, consistent, and reliable, collaborating closely with data engineers and analysts.

What you’ll do:

• Data Validation & Verification: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources and transformations.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Track and monitor pipelines for anomalies, ensuring adherence to data quality standards.
• Testing: Perform functional and regression testing on data workflows and environments.
• Documentation: Maintain test plans, QA reports, and data quality guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and analysts to resolve data issues and meet business requirements.
• Automation: Utilize SQL and QA tools to automate data quality checks and streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Data, or Business-related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in QA, with proven expertise in Data QA, ETL/ELT testing, or Data Quality Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, profiling, and automation of QA processes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake.
• Experience in AI/ML data validation and testing pipelines that feed machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of data workflows and ability to design and execute test plans for pipelines.
• Skilled at identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data anomalies and quality issues.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
