As a Full-Stack Cloud Software Engineer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications that empower global enterprises. This position requires expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on building robust, high-performance solutions that align with HCLTech’s mission to deliver transformative digital experiences. You will contribute to critical projects that accelerate our clients’ growth and innovation agendas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Angular for front-end and Java with Spring or Quarkus frameworks for back-end.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Implement best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Optimize applications for scalability, security, and reliability on cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), but experience with other cloud providers is also valued.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
• Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and actively propose innovative approaches to problem solving.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project delivery timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in front-end development using Angular.
• Strong proficiency in back-end development with Java and frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, but AWS/Azure experience also considered).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
