Required Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience as a network architect
- Proven ability to deliver architectures that incorporate high availability, operations supportability and scalability
Demonstrate experience designing network architectures in one or more of the following:
- DC Networking
- WAN (MPLS, DMVPN or SDWAN)
- LAN
- Wireless
- Network Segmentation
- Hybrid Cloud networking
- Network Management and Monitoring systems
- Cyber security planning and design
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Works with the lead architect and performs a full range of complex network designs encompassing multiple technologies and technology layers within a single, enterprise network
- Provides High Level Design documentation, jointly delivers low level design with the delivery team
- Works with the wider design community to support network interests in other workstreams
- Works with the Cyber and Compliance teams to ensure secure, compliant design
- Provides post design installation, configuration and tier 3 support for operational systems in the enterprise
- Support to systems including local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Cloud and Production systems
- Provides escalation and support to engineering for critical business issues
- Designs for IPV4 environments
- Designs management, monitoring and support systems for Networks
- Researches network trends
