About the Role

You will work with our client to develop Generative AI–powered solutions within supply chain analytics and deploy them as production-grade systems used by leading retailers and enterprise customers. In this role, you will design and build large-scale data pipelines, RAG systems, and GenAI-based features, collaborating with data scientists and bridging the gap between research and production. Expect to build highly scalable, modular, cloud-native solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

What You Will Do

• Design and deliver best-in-class architectures and components that are modular, secure, scalable, reliable, reusable, and observable.
• Contribute to all phases of development: architecture design, prototyping, productionizing, testing, and support.
• Apply modern software engineering practices-perform code/design reviews and follow DevOps principles for continuous delivery and reliable production workflows.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and lead PoC efforts to validate new tools and approaches.
• Translate business objectives into ML models and define the metrics that measure their success.
• Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews, helping drive alignment across teams.
• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that support ML and AI workloads at scale.
• Deploy Generative AI and traditional ML models into production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and monitoring.
• Work with data scientists to refine prompts and improve model output quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

Technical Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, ideally building SaaS systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong coding skills with Python or another OO language.
• Experience working with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL systems, and/or columnar data formats.
• Solid understanding of ML & data science concepts.
• Experience deploying end-to-end ML solutions, including serving and inference strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Python ML libraries: NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, MLflow, LightGBM, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with Python backend frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
• Familiarity with LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
• Ability to learn quickly, explore new domains, and operate effectively in ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Deep Learning, NLP, LLMs, and/or Computer Vision.
• Experience with modern big data and distributed processing platforms.
• Familiarity with supply chain analytics (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, pricing).
• Understanding of DevOps, MLOps, DataOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Knowledge of cloud services including containerization, serverless, orchestration, and message queues.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Terraform).
