RAID: Shadow Legends, Mech Arena, and our other 18 massive titles unite more than 500 million players worldwide. With over 15 years’ experience, we strive for boundary-pushing gameplay and graphics. We pair this with our dedication to innovation through analytics, marketing, and community interaction.
We are working on an unannounced, multi-platform third-person shooter in a realistic setting with innovative gameplay. The project is large-scale and ambitious both from a graphics and game design point of view, and from the technical perspective. The game is in active production, with over 100 specialists working on it.
We are looking for a talented Technical Artist to join the team who is working on the procedural generation of game levels and their elements. They are also responsible for developing graphic systems and shaders, visual effects, and tools to improve working with game assets.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and optimizing graphics systems and shaders
- Developing and optimizing the game UI as well as creating effects and animations for it
- Participating in the creation of visual effects
- Creating game elements and mechanics, from prototyping to final realization
- Organizing the process of importing assets: sprites, 3D models, and textures
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of work experience in game development
- Experience working in Unity
- Skills with C# scripting
- Experience creating shaders, both manually (using HLSL/CG) and using node-based editors
- Good understanding of artistic principles and the specifics of working with animation
- Knowledge of practical aspects of the full 3D model creation pipeline
- English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
Desired:
- Experience importing and setting up various types of assets in Unity
- Experience working with Houdini and Houdini Engine for Unity
- Experience profiling graphic performance on mobile platforms
- Experience developing tools for Unity
- Familiarity with the hardware restrictions of mobile devices
