We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join a collaborative, small team responsible for managing the infrastructure and operations of network systems. In this role, you will handle day-to-day operations, troubleshoot network-related issues, and support a variety of technologies in a fast-paced, on-call environment. If you have hands-on experience with network devices and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Device Management: Set up, configure, and maintain network hardware, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points, with experience in Palo Alto, Cisco, and F5 Load Balancers.
- Panorama is a management platform
- Operational Support: Manage daily network operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across both local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
- On-Call Duty: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support, with the opportunity for 1.5x overtime pay.
- Change Management: Participate in scheduled network changes, including patches, upgrades, and modifications, with a focus on maintaining uptime and minimizing disruptions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years working with Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.), network management, and troubleshooting.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA certification is required.
- Technologies: Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Change Management: Proficient in managing network changes in a structured and controlled manner.
- Ticket Management: Ability to manage and prioritize 4–5 tickets per day, ensuring timely resolution of both simple and complex issues.
- Team Collaboration: Experience in a small team environment, working collaboratively and providing on-call support.
- Work Environment: Comfort with late-night shifts and rotating on-call duty as part of a 24/7 operations team.
Hybrid:
- Hybrid Model: 3 days on-site
- On-Call Rotation: Expect to work late nights and be part of a rotation to provide support during after-hours.
