Superpowers

you have are

  • 3+ years of Experience: Proven experience in the GameDev industry as a Project Manager or Producer;
  • Knowledge of time-tracking and CRM systems, delivery tools work principles (Jira, Asana, Redmine, etc.);
  • Advanced skills in working with formulas, reporting, and data analysis using tools like Google Sheets/Excel;
  • Advanced level of proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing;
  • Project Management Expertise: Knowledgeable in WBS creation, project planning, and financial management;
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills for efficient task prioritization and delivery;
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify and manage risks effectively for project success;
  • Artistic Insight: Understanding of art pipelines and experience in the estimation process;
  • Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder management;
  • Result-oriented mindset and readiness for long-term cooperation.

You’re a rockstar

if you have

  • Experience managing a team of managers or producers;
  • Basic knowledge of software such as Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, After Effects, etc.;
  • Higher education (a degree in management or business is a plus);
  • Project Management Certificates.

As a part of Room 8

studio, you will

  • Perform as a Direct Manager to Project managers and Associate Project manager;
  • Control the Project managers team capacity based on current workloads and revenue managed by each Project manager;
  • Initiate the hiring of Project managers in case of capacity lack;
  • Participate in the Recruitment Process and handle technical interviews with candidates for the Project manager position;
  • Educate and onboard new Project managers and initiate organization of educational activities for Project managers;
  • Manage the allocated team budget within the mathematical model of the ASL and set targets.
  • Overview and support projects managed by the Project manager’s team, collaborating with Program Managers and Key Account Managers;
  • Assign and reassign projects according to the Project manager’s capacity and skills;
  • Provide help on estimation requests and review estimations prepared by Project managers;
  • Collaborate on pitch preparation with the Engagement team;
  • Manage test projects and transition them to Project managers upon successful completion;
