OUR NEW CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As a Cloud Solution Architect you will design our clients’ and our internal cloud environments. You will be involved in the creation of the design, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations from the earliest stages right through completion of the solution, aligning the customer’s needs to Devoteam’s managed service offerings.

The ideal candidate for this role should have solid hands-on experience in designing and setting up GCP, AWS, or Azure environments based on the customer’s requirements and industry best practices. Also, we expect the candidate to have a deep technical understanding of Cloud-based Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery practices, DevOps practices and Agile working methods.

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer interactions: discussing needs and specifications with customers, analyzing and writing requirements
High-level technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer executives
Together with colleagues from other teams ensure the implementation of the agreed architecture and infrastructure
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive knowledge and experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure public cloud providers
Experience with designing and delivering Cloud solutions that align with the Well-Architected Framework.
Experience with creating pilots, prototypes, and proof of concepts for providing validation of specific scenarios
Solid understanding of infrastructure (network, storage, server) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

It would be awesome, if you have:

A working knowledge of a software development lifecycle
Relevant cloud provider certifications
TOGAF certification
Skills working with Kubernetes or with data solutions
Experience with scripting and programming, e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Python
Solid Experience in IT Service Management (ITIL).
