VASS is actively looking for a Software Architect to work for our client, EIB in Luxembourg.
Job responsibilities:
- Define the architecture and technical stack for mobile and web applications.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance in architectural decisions.
- Provide guidance to developers on best practices and patterns.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Oversee integrations with external systems (e.g., APIs, databases).
- Develop and maintain web applications using Java (backend) and React (frontend) and mobile applications using React Native.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visual designs.
- Optimize application performance for scalability and responsiveness.
Mandatory Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural frameworks.
-Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and robust architectures for web applications.
-Strong understanding and knowledge of:
- Java J2SE & Java EE,
- REST, API Gateway, Kafka,
- JBoss application server,
- Oracle DB, Github, Nexus
- CI/CD Using Jenkins
Mandatory Experience:
Experience working on projects related to:
- Banking applications
- Lending Applications (i.e. Guarantee Calls, Cash & Liquidity Management, Rate Setting, Advisory Services, Capital Markets, Mandate Management)
Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
- Experienced in working in international organizations.
- Experience in working in English.
- Familiar with BMC as service management tool.
- Familiar with IntelliJ and/or Visual Studio Code.
- Familiar with SpringBoot.
