What you will be doing:
- Conduct thorough background investigations on potential employees, including verifying employment history, educational qualifications, professional references, and other local checks.
- Gather and analyze information from various sources, including personal interviews, employment records and public databases, to assess the applicant's suitability.
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the applicant's provided information, following up with relevant parties to ensure accuracy.
- Assess the character, credibility, and qualifications of applicants based on the compiled information, providing a comprehensive evaluation to hiring managers.
- Prepare clear and concise investigation reports, summarizing findings and recommendations regarding the applicant's suitability for the role.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, ensuring compliance with legal and company confidentiality standards.
- Communicate investigation findings and recommendations to hiring managers and HR personnel, providing a balanced perspective on each applicant.
- Assist in the development and implementation of background check procedures and policies.
- Learn and apply Continuous Improvement methods to improve processes.
- Document opportunities identified and work with managers/leads to drive action plans to results.
- Identify, define, document, and share best practices within the team and cross teams.
- Produce and deliver presentations based on data analysis to stakeholders, partners, or leadership.
- Deliver trainings to colleagues, employees, managers, Recruitment, HR.
- Perform regular internal quality audits and root cause analysis.
- Develop as Process Expert, Regional or Global Process Owner
- Involved in or coordinate projects that drive innovation, process improvement and AI adoption.
- Produce and manage project related documentation, road-maps, status dashboards, communications to stakeholders.
- Apply Continuous Improvement and Change Management methodology on projects, initiatives, deployment of new technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Customer-service oriented, putting yourself in the customer’s shoes while looking for solutions to their queries.
- Skilled problem solver with demonstrated analytical ability to assess complex data to identify trends and themes to propose improvements.
- Ability to represent a problem to others, and how to work with them efficiently to solve the problem. Ability to educate others on complex areas.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple investigations and maintain detailed records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to identify discrepancies.
- Diplomatic and influential partner with management, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Practical experience working in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about and apply emerging technologies, including AI, automation to enhance HR processes.
- Ability to work across different time zones and regions.
- Expert with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Bachelor's degree is a must. Master’s Degree nice to have.
