The team you will be a part of
The Software Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development/troubleshooting or debugging of moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Performs high-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Daily activities in software life cycle, translate requirements into software functional specifications to product level testing, including software design, implementation and unit testing.
Software / firmware development mostly in C over a RTOS framework;
Actively join Design Reviews, conduct peer reviews, and provide meaningful feedback for other team members;
Create, document and execute Unit Tests. Create, document and execute White and Black Box software tests;
Document Software Design and implementation into standard software documentation formats;
Release software for validation and production;
Contribute on the development process from the technical design and architecture to the implementation and maintenance;
Eventual international travels;
Minimum Requirements
B.S. Electrical/ Electronics Engineer, Computer Engineer, Mechatronics or correlated area
Proficiency in the C language
Ability to read datasheets, software & hardware reference documents, create setups and debug hardware related issues without supervision;
Advanced English
1+ years of experience with professional software engineering practices over all aspects of software development life-cycle including writing requirements specifications, developing design guidelines and coding standards, performing code reviews, source code control, build systems, testing, release engineering and field support
Preferred Skills And Experiences
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python or C#)
Experience with a variety of coding languages and paradigms, including C++, Java, JavaScript Python, UML / SysML and modeling languages
Comfortable with Object Oriented programing
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Capable of working independently with cross functional teams and to provide updates to the leadership through effective communication. Should be able to negotiate and influence technical and non-technical audiences
A passion for applying latest technologies into the development of innovative features and products
A collaborative attitude and strong desire to succeed as part of the team.
