About The Role
As the Human Resources Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the school's operational and strategic human resource functions. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will provide advice and coordinate processes to ensure the effective management of human resources within the school.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Contributing to the development and implementation of human resource strategies, processes, and systems to deliver client-focused services.
- Assisting the Business Manager with the supervision of support staff.
- Coordinating and administering human resource processes, including recruitment, induction, and staff movements.
- Providing support and advice on employment conditions, pay, leave, MyHR, contracts, and claims.
- Monitoring service delivery to ensure compliance with government and departmental policies and standards.
About You

- Experience in human resource management or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with staff and the school community.
- Knowledge of government and departmental policies, directives, and standards.
- Ability to analyse and improve human resource systems and processes.
