LEVEL OF EDUCATION: Bachelor or Master Degree

Knowledge And Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML 5 and CSS 3
  • In depth knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of Agile principles.
  • Good knowledge of design principles such as SOLID, IDEALS and CQRS. SAGA is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of interoperability technology (REST, Service Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus).
  • Knowledge of UML, in particular use case, state transition and activity diagrams.
  • Capability to write clear and structured documents
  • Ability to give business and technical presentations.
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design

Specific Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience of HTML 5 and CSS 3: The candidate must possess a deep provable knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, demonstrated through experience in creating robust, high-quality web pages. He/she must be adept at developing accessible, fully functional websites from scratch, using only a graphical design as a reference. This includes ensuring semantic structure, adherence to modern web standards, and the integration of best practices for accessibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of SASS to streamline CSS development for efficiency and organization.
  • Proficiency in BEM (Block-Element-Modifier) naming convention: Utilise BEM to foster consistent and understandable naming conventions in CSS, ensuring maintainability.
  • In-depth knowledge of accessibility and associated standards WCAG 2.1+ and WAI-ARIA
  • In-depth understanding of WCAG 2.1 standards: Ensure web pages meet accessibility benchmarks for all users.
  • Deep knowledge of WAI-ARIA: Possess comprehensive expertise in WAI-ARIA to enhance web pages' interactivity and accessibility beyond basic HTML.
  • Implementation of accessibility attributes: The candidate must be able to apply ARIA attributes to enrich user interaction for assistive technologies.
  • Knowledge of web components to create moduler and reusable UI elements. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the Web Components standard, which is essential for developing reusable, encapsulated components within web applications. This expertise enables the creation of modular and maintainable UI elements that enhance code reusability and consistency across projects.
  • Knowledge and skills on using Continuing Development / Continuing Integration techniques, knowledge of source code control repositories (GIT/Bitbucket) and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Angular 16+ and/our Aurelia and NPM.Knowledge of PostCSS will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of PostCSS: Familiarity with PostCSS is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience working with other Javascript frameworks (JQuery, NGRX, React, Knockout.js…) is an asset.
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Suite, JIRA Confluence Bitbucket and bamboo
  • Knowledge of Java 8 and Java 11, Java 17 and above is an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience working with eUI/ECL is an asset.
  • Good understanding of UX design best practices, in particular responsive and mobile-first design, is an asset.
