DevOps Engineer

Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced Developer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining solutions, reviewing designs made by other architects, and breaking down the solution design into manageable work items. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to DevOps teams, evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and patterns, and ensure that the software architecture aligns with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain software solutions.
• Review and evaluate designs made by other architects.
• Break down solution designs into actionable work items with the help of team members.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to DevOps teams.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and patterns for implementation.
• Facilitate discussions with integrators, developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best design principles.
• Stay updated on industry trends and relevant methodologies.
• Present documents and convince the technical jury on the feasibility and robustness of proposed solutions.
• Ensure software/component architecture adheres to best practices and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of experience as a technical software architect.
• Extensive experience in software configuration management, including hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Proficient with testing frameworks such as Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Behavioral Testing, and UAT.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, ClearCase, and SVN.
• Experience with artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory/Nexus.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong self-learner with the ability to work independently.
• Practical, flexible, and committed to high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to organize and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Experience in collaborating with integrators, developers, architects, and stakeholders to drive technical decisions.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest industry practices and methodologies.
