R&D Controller

Your Contribution

Working on various controlling processes related to R&D projects
Performing month-end closing activities according to the corporate timeline
Performing planning, budgeting & forecasting and closing activities
Creating monthly R&D invoices to other Plants and Management Entities
Cost monitoring of projects with explanation of variations on a monthly and annual level
Controlling of R&D organizational units (cost centers)
Analyzing R&D business indicators (KPI)
Monitoring IC received invoices from other MAHLE Management entities
Involvement and constant cooperation with colleagues from other areas – R&D, general management, project management, finance & accounting, etc.
Preparation of standard "ad hoc" reports and presentations
Creating various cost analysis and actively working on cost optimization activities
Support R&D Center Manager with analysis like customer project R&D spend
Working with controlling applications (SAP, MARS, etc.), maintenance of existing tools and development of the new controlling methods
Participation in measures to improve operations and advice on business problems, implementation of policies and management decisions
Work at the MAHLE location in Šempeter pri Gorici

Your Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting
3+ years’ experience in a similar position ideally in automotive sector
3+ years’ experience in SAP system
Slovene and English language
Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Innovative – continuous improvement
Microsoft excel Advanced, fully knowledge in power point bridge reports
Cost accounting experience
Knowledge of SAP system or other controlling IT systems desirable
