A partner of ours in the crypto-trading space is hiring a DevOps Team Lead to guide a senior team and take ownership of their most critical systems. The role centres on an ultra-low-latency on-prem platform that underpins all trading activity, paired with a modern AWS/EKS environment running their wider services. You’ll step into a position with real influence: shaping reliability, tightening operational discipline, and setting the technical direction for a platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of three DevOps engineers.
• Take full ownership of the core on-prem low-latency platform.
• Manage incidents independently, including structured post-mortems.
• Improve reliability, monitoring and internal tooling across the environment.
• Align DevOps with broader engineering groups and influence technical decisions.
• Raise operational standards without micro-management.

Skills & Experience

• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience across both on-prem and cloud systems.
• Solid incident response and operational practice.
• Strong conceptual understanding; able to learn complex systems quickly.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS and AWS services.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Loki).
• Credible technical leadership in distributed environments.

• Central Zurich office with a hybrid set-up; regular on-site presence expected, especially in a team-lead role.

• Fixed compensation: CHF 150,000.
