Role Description


As a Cybersecurity Specialist – Digital Product & Portfolio Development, you will ensure that security principles are seamlessly integrated across the full digital product lifecycle — from design and development to testing and deployment. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed cybersecurity best practices into our innovation and delivery processes, safeguarding both our products and clients’ trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate cybersecurity best practices into the digital product development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy).
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security audits for digital products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, UX, IT) to ensure security is embedded early in product planning and portfolio development.
  • Define and implement secure architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Support compliance with relevant security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans, assisting in the resolution of product-related security issues.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and threats relevant to digital innovation and portfolio management.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams to foster a culture of secure product development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Must be a certified Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Specialist (ISA/IEC 62443).
  • 3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally within digital product or software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development (SSDLC), DevSecOps, and cloud security principles.
  • Experience with risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Familiarity with modern development technologies (e.g., APIs, microservices, containers, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of relevant security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, OWASP, NIST, and CIS Controls.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical security needs into business and design contexts.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CSSLP) are a plus.
