Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Backend Developer with a strong background in SQL, JSON data manipulation & enterprise-grade backend services. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend solutions that support large-scale health and human services systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using .NET (C#)
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Work with JSON-based data formats for configuration, integration, and data exchange
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers
- Support infrastructure-as-code (IAC) patterns in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in product design discussions and ensure compliance with client requirements and system consistency
- Provide technical consultation and support to internal teams and senior stakeholders
- 8+ years of professional backend development experience with .NET / C#
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and complex query development
- Proficiency in JSON, particularly for API data handling and configuration management
- Familiarity with Agile / Lean / SAFe development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Git, GitFlow (or similar version control strategies), and CI/CD pipelines
