Senior Machine Learning Engineer
About the role
You will join a team that designs, builds, and scales ML systems for personalization and user engagement at large scale. You’ll work with production-grade pipelines, real-time decision-making systems, and experimentation frameworks that directly impact millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Develop pipelines that transform behavioral, demographic, and contextual signals into real-time features
- Design low-latency APIs/services for online prediction and decision-making
- Implement A/B testing, exploration/exploitation strategies, and robust model evaluation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance engagement, business value, and compliance
- Set up monitoring, logging, drift detection, and retraining workflows to keep models stable in production
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied ML engineering (recommendation systems, personalization, ranking, or ads)
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (and/or Go), SQL, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience deploying real-time ML systems (feature stores, event-driven architectures, low-latency serving)
- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, or similar)
- Experience working with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Understanding of multi-objective optimization and trade-offs in personalization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
Nice to have
- Experience in martech/adtech/CRM or large-scale B2C personalization
- Familiarity with bandit algorithms or reinforcement learning
- Experience running systems serving an audience of “millions of users”
- Practical experience with GCP
Soft skills
- Fluent English; clear and structured communication
- Proactive mindset and ownership of results
- Willingness to overlap working hours with 9:00–16:00 EST
