Take on a pivotal role in shaping and leading a Queensland government department’s cyber security and supportability agenda, ensuring the department’s digital assets, systems, and data are secure, resilient, and compliant with Queensland Government standards and best practices.

The Role

The Manager Cyber Resilience will focus on developing and improving a robust cyber resilience framework, managing security risks, and ensuring the ongoing supportability of digital systems. This includes leading the department's response to emerging cyber threats, fostering a culture of security awareness, and driving continuous improvement in security and supportability practices.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to working across teams and stakeholders.

About You

  • There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, significant experience in a senior cyber security or resilience role, preferably within government or a large organisation and an understanding of the ISO27001 Information Security management System standard would be beneficial.
  • This role may involve occasional responsiveness outside of normal office hours and regional travel.
