We are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network systems. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with IT infrastructure and want to build a career in networking within an Australian work environment.

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues
• Support troubleshooting of connectivity and security problems
• Maintain documentation of network changes and configurations
• Collaborate with IT teams on upgrades and improvements
• Perform routine system checks and updates
• Help ensure network security and compliance standards
• Respond to basic support requests related to network access

Essential:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Basic understanding of LAN, WAN and network protocols
• Familiarity with routers, switches and firewalls
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Clear communication skills in English

Preferred:

• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
• Certification such as CCNA (or in progress) is an advantage
• Experience with ticketing systems or IT support
