Graduate Financial Accountant

We are recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper / Graduate Financial Accountant for our clients, a leading retail company based in Tralee, County Kerry.This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to further develop their accounting career while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations using a computerised accounting packages.
• Complete creditors and debtors reconciliations accurately and on schedule.
• Process invoices, expenses, and other financial documents.
• Prepare and generate financial reports as required by management.
• Manage and process payroll in accordance with company procedures.
• Enter journals into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy.
• Provide ongoing support to the Financial Controller, including assistance with month-end and year-end tasks.
• Work collaboratively within the finance team, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ Experience working with computerised accounting packages is essential (Intact experience an advantage).
• A qualification in accounting finance, or a related field or a recent graduate of ACCA, CPA, ACA or similar
• Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills.
• Payroll processing experience is essential.
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

Salary is based on experienced and qualifications.
