We are looking for a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineerwith deep expertise in NGINX, gateway platforms, traffic routing, security certificates, and incident operations. This role focuses heavily on operational readiness, production stability, automation, observability, and compliance for high-traffic distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
Service Lifecycle Reliability
- Own and improve the full lifecycle of services — from design, deployment to operations.
- Ensure operational readiness across performance, scalability, availability, monitoring, and self-healing capabilities.
- Lead incident response and run blameless postmortems to optimize MTTR.
- Strong hands-on experience with NGINX configurations, reverse proxies, SSL termination, routing, and gRPC-based architectures.
- Manage large-scale traffic routing, security headers, load balancing (F5 / BIG-IP), and gateway integrations.
- Build and maintain automation for:
- Certificate renewal (mTLS, SSL handshake)
- Traffic routing adjustments
- Monitoring and compliance reporting
- Use tools such as Ansible, Venafi, XLR, Jenkins, Groovy, Bitbucket/Git.
- Support CI/CD gating and promotion pipelines.
- Implement and manage alerting, logging, and observability frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Dynatrace
- Splunk
- Establish proactive detection and response mechanisms.
- Drive initiatives tied to PCI compliance, risk management, threat reduction, and governance.
- Work with ITSM teams to close defects, improve processes, and strengthen resiliency.
- Perform advanced debugging:
- TCP dumps
- Stack traces
- Thread/heap dumps
- OS-level troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of authentication frameworks:
- OAuth
- SAML
- SSO
- Active Directory
- Work across global teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Provide feedback to development teams about operational gaps and improvements.
Must-Have
- Strong hands-on NGINX configuration traffic routing
- Experience with gRPC architectures
- AWS (infrastructure secure access)
- Chef, Jenkins, Groovy, Shell scripting
- Ansible, Git/Bitbucket
- XLR template experience
- Dynatrace, Splunk (monitoring alerting)
- Strong networking knowledge (L1–L7, load balancers, firewalls)
- Experience with self-healing architectures
- Building resiliency frameworks
- Distributed system observability
- DevOps transformation projects
- Excellent communication documentation
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams
