The Nordic Quality Assurance (NQA) unit is responsible for testing and monitoring of the Nordic and Baltic Members firms’ compliance with the System of Quality Management (SoQM).


Role description

NQA is looking for additional team members to perform implementation and efficiency testing of SoQM manual controls for the nine KPMG member firms, follow-up remediation of findings, and facilitate the evaluation of the member firms’ compliance with the International Standard of Quality Management (ISQM1; and QC1000 for PCAOB registered firms) requirements. The new resources will also be involved in various projects to develop and strengthen NQA internal processes and procedures.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Testing Implementation and Operating Effectiveness of SoQM manual controls.
  • Testing of remedial actions following findings and deviations identified by NQA in SoQM manual controls.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of the Member Firms’ SoQM compliance.
  • Performing Compliance Testing.
  • Contributing to the development of the NQA internal processes and procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience with compliance testing (e.g., quality system testing, SOX controls), external auditing and/or assurance services, internal auditing and internal control systems.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of any of the members firms’ working languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and take on responsibility for organizing own work and deliver on time.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity and good team worker.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details.
