About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to work with one of our clients with their People & Culture team in Barcelona. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their HR journey who is eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. You will support day-to-day HR team and contribute to key People initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Support HR operational tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, relocation processes and employee documentation.
- Assist in the coordination of employee lifecycle processes in alignment with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Provide first-level support to employee queries regarding HR policies, systems, and processes.
- Support People Partners in performance, engagement, compensation and other employee life-cycle initiatives/processes.
- Help maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Payroll team as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of internal procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar HR support role, preferably in a tech or fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
- Basic understanding of Spanish labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
