Android Developer – Performance & Observability Platform

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join a team building tools and observability solutions that help developers improve app performance and stability. The team works closely with internal developers to understand real needs, integrate tooling, and drive measurable quality improvements.

You will be part of a new platform initiative that brings together different types of client observations into a single view—enabling faster identification of bottlenecks and more efficient bug handling.

Your Role

• Develop tools to measure, analyze, and improve performance and stability of Android applications
• Work across the full stack: Android client, backend services, and visualization layers
• Perform profiling and diagnostics such as system tracing and memory analysis
• Contribute to a new observability platform that aggregates client-side signals
• Act as a technical ambassador for quality and performance across developer teams
• Collaborate closely with engineers to enable better development practices and outcomes

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong focus on Android development
• Experience designing and building distributed services in Java/Kotlin
• Familiar with Agile ways of working, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable working with BigQuery, SQL, and data analytics for decision-making
• Strong quality and performance mindset
• A collaborative, solution-oriented team player
• Curious, fast learner, and eager to broaden your technical scope
