Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Go and Python
• Deploy and support applications within Kubernetes environments
• Take full lifecycle ownership of applications including development and iteration
• Troubleshoot and fix root causes of issues, automate recovery and notifications
• Automate infrastructure deployment using infrastructure as code practices
• Improve system security and implement best practices
• Code infrastructure-related applications to support business objectives
• Evolve system hardware and software functionality to meet client needs
• Work hands-on with computers and network equipment
• Collaborate with the team to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Implement network troubleshooting and security enhancements
• Maintain and enhance Linux networking and filesystems
• Create and maintain Bash scripts to support system operations
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Advanced experience (3+ years) in Go and Python development
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including advanced usage in production
• Proficient with Bash scripting and Linux networking concepts
• Familiarity with MongoDB and database management
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting techniques
• Solid understanding of security best practices for devices and networks
• Ability to take ownership and lead application development lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English (B2 - Upper-Intermediate)
• Experience with automation tooling and infrastructure as code
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Curious and fast learner mindset
• Focus on reliability and security in software development

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for system automation
• Knowledge of Docker containerization technologies
• Familiarity with secrets management solutions
• Experience in system hardening techniques
• Hands-on experience with network equipment
