Role Overview

NTT DATA is seeking a Lead Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise and service provider networks. You’ll contribute to consulting engagements, define technical roadmaps, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance and security standards are met. This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to deliver innovative, high-performance network solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise and service provider networks for optimal performance and availability.
• Lead technical delivery for projects, including solution design and roadmap definition.
• Provide high-level architecture for complex business scenarios and consult on deployment processes.
• Conduct network audits and ensure compliance with security and industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, innovative network solutions.
• Develop detailed design documentation for network implementations

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in network architecture, design, and troubleshooting in large-scale environments.
• Expertise in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), MPLS, VLAN, and QoS.
• Familiarity with SDN concepts and Cisco technologies (SDA, DNAC/Catalyst Centre).
• Hands-on experience with SDWAN solutions and network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Energy.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, DevNet Professional, CISSP/CCSP) highly regarded.
