Requirements:

• 10+ years of specific expertise in Back-End technologies, including Vert.x, Kotlin, Java (> 17), Spring Boot (WebFlux), and Hibernate.
• 6+ years of specific expertise in Microservices Architecture, API-driven Development, and secure messaging protocols like AS4.
• 6+ years of specific expertise with Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Virtuoso Triple Store, and OpenSearch.
• 6+ years of specific expertise in Containerisation & Orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• 6+ years of specific expertise in Security Testing & Dependency Management using tools like SAST, DAST, Fortify, SonarQube, Sonatype, Dependency-Track, and Maven.
• 5+ years of experience in Security standards, including OpenID Connect, OAuth2, TLS, and Keycloak.
• 10+ years of specific expertise in Collaboration & Productivity Tools like JIRA, Confluence, Office 365, and SharePoint.
• Soft Skills: Ability to apply high quality standards, good communication skills, capable of rapid self-starting, and ability to adapt to changes in a multicultural environment.
• Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

• Lead the development of back-end website applications and implement core business logic.
• Design and develop APIs and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement data storage solutions by creating servers and databases for application functionality.
• Ensure the understanding and implementation of security and data protection measures.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability, and participate in the design of scalable software.
• Maintain code integrity and organisation by writing clean, functional code on the back-end.
• Troubleshoot problems, identify areas for improvement, and test/fix bugs.
• Take the lead on projects as needed and write necessary technical documentation.
