DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer for one of our clients who enjoys combining security, development, and cloud automation.

This role is intentionally kept simple: we value mindset, problem-solving skills, and ownership more than a long list of certificates.

You will help us build secure, automated, and reliable environments that support our development teams and keep our platforms running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Automate security processes (scanning, compliance checks, hardening)
• Work closely with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC
• Manage and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
• Monitor systems and proactively improve reliability and security

What We’re Looking For

We keep requirements realistic:

• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms
• Familiarity with security principles (OWASP, IAM, secrets)
• Strong automation mindset (Python, Bash, or similar)
• A proactive, ownership-driven attitude
• Willingness to grow and learn new tools

Nice to have (not required):

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of container security
• Hands-on with SIEM/SOAR tools
