DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Employment: contractor
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer for one of our clients who enjoys combining security, development, and cloud automation.
This role is intentionally kept simple: we value mindset, problem-solving skills, and ownership more than a long list of certificates.
You will help us build secure, automated, and reliable environments that support our development teams and keep our platforms running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automate security processes (scanning, compliance checks, hardening)
- Work closely with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC
- Manage and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
- Monitor systems and proactively improve reliability and security
What We’re Looking For
We keep requirements realistic:
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms
- Familiarity with security principles (OWASP, IAM, secrets)
- Strong automation mindset (Python, Bash, or similar)
- A proactive, ownership-driven attitude
- Willingness to grow and learn new tools
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of container security
- Hands-on with SIEM/SOAR tools
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Flexible working hours and hybrid/remote options
- Modern engineering environment and tools
- A team that values security, automation, and innovation
- Growth opportunities within DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering
- Support for training and certifications
