Senior Project Manager, Health Technologies


A technology-focused Sports Science Laboratory is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the team. The role is a key communication bridge between R&D teams and various stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and cultures. You will drive project planning, prioritize deliverables, and oversee project management activities. The position requires strong technical understanding in machine learning, proven project management expertise, and a passion for health technology. Ultimately, this role focuses on delivering maximum value by effectively managing the entire project lifecycle from concept to product. Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects in the sports and health technology domain, focusing on wearable sensors and intelligent algorithms.
  • Drive feature planning and prioritization in collaboration with product, algorithm, and software teams, ensuring alignment with global stakeholders.
  • Balance scope, priorities, and timelines to deliver maximum value while maintaining project quality and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary communication bridge between the local R&D team and international stakeholders, ensuring smooth and transparent collaboration.
  • Evaluate, triage, and coordinate bug reports and feature requests from global stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and robust feedback loops.
  • Facilitate agile development practices and support continuous improvement in workflow and cross-cultural teamwork.


Requirements


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in software or technology product development. A solid foundation in algorithms, statistics, and machine learning principles, you don’t need to be a model developer, but you should be comfortable communicating with technical teams and understanding their logic.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-driven and structured, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience or strong passion for sports, health tech, or wearable devices is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese with the ability to navigate cross-cultural communication effectively.
  • Contract Type: Full-time consultant position via a third-party supplier.
