Your Role:
You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and availability of systems for internal teams. You will work in a hybrid setup, supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain virtualization clusters and solutions (VMware/Proxmox)
- Monitor systems and perform proactive maintenance
- Administer NAS/SAN solutions to ensure data availability and security
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies (Cloud & OnPrem)
- Maintain central password management systems
- Manage server hardware, DNS entries, and SSL certificates
- Provide internal technical support across departments
Your Profile:
- Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Solid understanding of backup and recovery concepts
- Confident handling of NAS/SAN systems
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash or PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Ideally: knowledge of databases and Infrastructure as Code
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent in German (C1)
