User Interface Designer (Italy)

A company is seeking a skilled User Interface Designer for a short-term project to refine and elevate a narrative demo for a voice-based mobile app. The current prototype, designed in Figma, requires enhancements in layout, spacing, typography, color palette, and the addition of subtle micro-interactions such as simple transitions and animated states. The visual direction should be calm, modern, minimal, and voice-first, reflecting a clear and accessible user experience. This polished prototype will be used to present the app concept to influencers and early investors. The project scope covers 6–9 screens and must be completed within 7–10 days. All necessary assets, including the current demo, branding materials, and visual references, will be provided, along with clear creative guidance. Fast turnaround, strong visual aesthetics, and thoughtful UX are essential. Italian language proficiency and residency in Italy are required for this role.

Deliverables

• Refine and enhance the existing Figma narrative demo for a mobile app (6–9 screens)
• Improve layout, spacing, typography, and color usage to achieve a modern, minimal, and calm visual style
• Implement light micro-interactions, including simple transitions and animated states
• Ensure the prototype aligns with a voice-first, accessible user experience philosophy
• Deliver a polished, presentation-ready prototype within 7–10 days

Requirements

• Proven experience in UI/UX design for mobile applications, with a strong portfolio demonstrating modern, minimal aesthetics
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Ability to create and implement micro-interactions and animated states
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and user-centered design principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow creative direction
• Italian language fluency and current residency in Italy
