The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across both new and existing systems. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, applying best practices to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient code that meets business objectives.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and deliver complex IT solutions that align with business goals and project requirements.
• Implement and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring smooth deployment and resolving issues proactively.
• Champion code quality by writing robust unit tests and maintaining strong test coverage.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems, libraries, and services to improve performance and security.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team leads, and peers to align development efforts and ensure project success.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and future platform enhancements with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

What You Bring

• Strong backend development skills with C# (.NET, On-Premise & Azure)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or Angular preferred)
• Hands-on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform – including WebApps, scalable architectures, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• (Bonus) Knowledge of the Energy sector, especially smart meters and billing systems
