About the Job
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience. You will join a high-performing Cyber Defence team focused on protecting critical systems and ensuring the organisation stays ahead of evolving threats.
In this role, you will turn complex security data into clear insights, smarter metrics, and actionable recommendations. You will help the organisation understand where security gaps exist, what matters most, and how to improve security in a strategic, measurable way.
Your Job
- Design and build a data-driven analytics framework to assess security maturity
- Create threat models and visualizations that highlight potential attack scenarios
- Develop smart security metrics and translate them into high-value KPIs
- Build a High-Level Solution Design and a Data Model that structures all security data
- Contribute to the organisation’s Cyber Resilience Index (CRI) and overall security scoring
- Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls across modern EDR/XDR tools (especially Microsoft Defender)
- Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders to help improve capabilities
- Document processes, models, and analysis outputs to ensure clarity and consistency
- Collaborate with security engineers, detection engineers, architects, and other key teams
- Drive initiatives that improve visibility, reduce risk, and strengthen cyber resilience
You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong exposure to data science
- Certifications such as CISSP or GIAC/SANS (e.g., GDSA, GICSP)
- Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, D3FEND, CAPEC, CVE/CVSS, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Microsoft Security Benchmark
- Understanding of modern EDR/XDR suites and control/telemetry evaluation
- Experience documenting designs, models, and security analysis outputs
- Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder-friendly mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with PowerBI, Databricks, and detection engineering tools
- Strong quantitative/statistical skills: confidence intervals, Monte Carlo, Bayesian methods
- Data tooling: Python, SQL, KQL, and experience handling large datasets
- Familiarity with conceptual modelling languages like ArchiMate
