🚀 Contract Opportunity: Full-Stack Developer & Scrum Master (Java/Angular) – 12 Months


Location: Stockholm (Swedish-speaking required)

Start: January 2026

Scope: Full-time, long-term contract (12+ months)

Client: Leading organisation within the public/government sector


About the Assignment

We’re supporting a major public-sector programme that is scaling its internal development team and now looking for a highly experienced Full-Stack Developer who also operates as a certified Scrum Master. This is a long-term engagement where you will combine strong hands-on coding with team leadership, coaching, and agile facilitation.


You’ll be part of a self-driven product team working on modernising and developing internal systems with high societal impact.


Responsibilities


As the Full-Stack Developer & Scrum Master, you will:


  • Lead and coach the development team using Scrum and agile best practices
  • Act as a hands-on contributor in the codebase (Java21, Angular19)
  • Drive technical decisions, backlog planning and delivery follow-up
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers in both technical skills and ways of working
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes, delivery and technical quality
  • Work with REST API integrations, container environments and secure enterprise systems


Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:


  • 9+ years professional software development experience
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • 5+ years documented experience as a Scrum Master in development teams within
  • government, public sector, or large system development projects
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with:
  • Java 21
  • Angular 19
  • OpenShift
  • Oracle SQL
  • 5+ years leading development teams
  • Planning, workload distribution, technical leadership, progress follow-up
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and supporting team maturity
  • Strong experience developing and integrating REST-based APIs
  • Fluent Swedish (spoken & written), plus good English


Nice to Have


  • Experience in large-scale public sector programmes
  • Experience working with self-developed/mission-critical systems
  • Exposure to modern DevOps, CI/CD and containerised delivery models
