Role Summery
The Project Manager role supports the VCT team, Pack Thermal — a non-prestigious, positive, and highly skilled design and simulation team within Traton. Our strength lies in a unique mix of experiences and technical expertise, all centered around understanding and optimizing thermodynamic properties in battery development. We take pride in our collaborative mindset, our curiosity, and our ability to solve complex challenges together.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to ensure a well-functioning, collaborative environment.
- Drive process improvements to enhance time-to-market, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate and guide the team through projects and milestones, ensuring steady workflow.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Production, Procurement) to align priorities and achieve common goals.
- Balance a holistic perspective with attention to detail.

Competence And Experience
- Engineering education as a foundation
- Understanding of design and technical issues within the field
- Project management skills are a plus, but you could also be a designer and simulation engineer with the potential to grow into a project management role
- Fluent in English (Swedish and German are an advantage
- Working in international and rapidly changing environments is desirable
- Previous experience in project management is an advantage
- Experience from Scania, Traton, or similar companies is an advantage but not a requirement
