Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Work on tasks that are part of projects that will be seen by users across Google.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships within our distributed team across multiple time zones, sharing knowledge on and learning relevant technical areas and Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Execute independently on agreed objectives with proper guidance, escalating appropriately when required.
  • Participate in the production deployment of services and ongoing production support.
  • Partner with other teams and functions Product Manager and UX in coordination with engineering leadership to understand and deliver the product experience for our users.
