Position Summary
The Project Manager – Construction & Installation will oversee the on-site execution of our product installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role requires hands-on construction experience, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and client expectations in dynamic field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the installation of our specialised products (e.g., containment systems) on construction sites across various regions.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison between our company, contractors, and clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, logistics, and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with project scope.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
- Resolve field issues promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, reports, and change orders.
- Support commissioning and handover processes for completed installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management or site supervision.
- Familiarity with commercial construction systems and infrastructure products.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
