Pay: $35-42/hour. W2 Only. No sponsorship is available for this positions.

Duration:6 months with extensions based on need and performance.
Our client is transitioning from Cisco to Arista. This project is pretty much complete and in final phases, and they now need someone to configure, build Cisco boxes or clean out the legacy / decommissioned network boxes (90% will be Cisco assets, the rest will mostly be Arista devices).
Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement)
Preference for candidates who can work in ITAR compliant sites/projects (USC or GC).

- Solarwinds exp would definitely help a candidate stand out (not an absolute hard requirement, see below in top skills)
- Not looking for very senior engineer, more entry to mid level or just getting into mid level (3-5yrs exp)
- Industry BG doesn't matter (mfg, financial service, etc..)
- Will be working very independently (given a task and will be expected to complete)
- Will be writing out configuration for boxes (Cisco boxes mostly and some Arsita boxes)
- Bach degree hard requirement; certifications are preferred.
- 3-5+ years Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Arista EOS - need to have exp building/ configuring Cisco boxes.
- Strong skills in routing and switching (Strong Routing skills will make a candidate stand out)
- SolarWinds is preferred monitoring tool
- Service Now experience is preferred.
