US-based data-driven business that serves colleges and universities. They help educational institutions drive their success with transparency of data, both across departments on campus and across the higher education marketplace. Our client leverage real-time student record-level data to visualize opportunities and provide analytics that highlight areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with PowerBI and other data visualization software
- Strong quantitative skills including understanding of statistics
- ETL and DWH management
- Back-end database programming using coding languages such as SQL
- Structured and/or unstructured data analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree or certification, preferably in a data-related field such as math, statistics, or computer science
- B2/C1 level of English
- Impressive written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Python
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and experiment with different data technologies
- Ability to use data to develop compelling narratives
- Listen to end-user requirements and translate into workable data solves
- Build and maintain business intelligence solutions
- Exercise intellectual curiosity by mining data sets to find meaningful patterns and trends in the data—both for individual institutions and across campuses
- Ensure data quality and security using best-in-class business intelligence tools and technology
- Contribute to the product roadmap, subsequent enhancements, and development
- Visualize data for storytelling to train others in BI
