About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a large enterprise program focused on building and improving automated testing frameworks across critical platforms.
You’ll work in a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing and developing automation solutions that support system integrity, performance and reliability across complex environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain test automation frameworks
- Develop automated test suites for UI, API and integration testing
- Work closely with engineers and product teams to embed quality into delivery
- Contribute to test strategy, standards and best practice
- Execute automated regression and integration testing
- Analyse defects and collaborate on root cause analysis
- Maintain test environments and test data
- Support release cycles and QA sign-off
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, DevTest or similar)
- Solid programming experience in Java, Python or TypeScript
- Experience with API testing and integration validation
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity or similar)
- Exposure to message-based systems (Kafka, MQ) an advantage
- SQL / database testing experience desirable
- Strong engineering mindset and attention to detail
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Fraud, digital or financial services experience
- Linux / Unix command line experience
- AI or data engineering exposure (nice to have)
