Network Engineer

A leading financial services provider is seeking Network Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring their network infrastructure runs efficiently, securely, and reliably. Working closely with multiple network operation teams and stakeholders, you will confirm requirements and recommend network solutions which align with internal standards, procedures and catalogue tool set. You will also be required to troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, switching, firewall and load balancing issues,

To be successful, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
• Strong network engineering experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale network environments
• Advanced knowledge and experience supporting, maintaining and configuring routers and switches, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, VTP) along with firewalls and load balancers
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to help resolve complex network issues
• Automation and/or Python skills with any exposure to Ansible or CI/CD pipelines highly regarded
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is a Sydney-based role and requires a minimum of two days per week onsite.
