Data Analyst

The Role: The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the eCommerce and digital marketing strategy by analysing inventory data and providing insights into FMCG and product-related trends, helping drive best-practice, data-driven decision-making.

The Responsibilities:

• Autonomously collect, analyse, and interpret marketing and eCommerce performance data.
• Independently identify and highlight anomalies, opportunities, and risks in marketing or customer data.
• Recommend adjustments to marketing strategies or tactics based on data-driven insights, subject to sign-off by the Head of eCommerce or Digital Marketing Manager.
• Maintain and update dashboards, performance reports, and analytics tools with current and accurate data.
• Manage access and configuration for data sources (e.g. GA4, Power BI, Magento reports), ensuring alignment with data governance practices.
• Provide guidance to marketing, eCommerce, and creative teams based on data insights, influencing channel strategies and digital experience enhancements.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst delivering data insights and analytics within FMCG, product and inventory improving business based decision making.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce metrics and levers.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
• Understanding of customer segmentation, attribution modelling, and campaign tracking.
• Experience with data visualisation tools and dashboard creation.
• Experience with Magento, DotDigital, or tag management tools (e.g. GTM) (Desirable).
