As part of our Software Development team, you will:
- Become one of the key developers for our high-traffic web shop, blog, and other web pages used by millions of pet parents around the world
- Redesign pages and components to create a modern, consistent, and user-friendly web experience
- Develop and maintain new features for our web shop - from landing pages to cart and checkout - that delight our customers and support business goals
- Make our web pages fast, accessible, and SEO-friendly to provide a smooth experience on all devices
- Create layouts in HTML5 and CSS3 from their conceptualization until they go live
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
Key requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience working with modern web technologies (HTML, TypeScript, CSS, Responsive Web Design)
- Experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Hands-on experience working with components and design systems
- Experience in optimizing page performance
- Confident communicator with the ability to articulate and defend ideas effectively and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with Figma Dev Mode or general Figma knowledge is a plus
- Experience in PHP and Wordpress is a plus
- Very good English skills
- A doer with a strong “getting things done” mindset, always taking initiative
- A natural problem-solver with sharp analytical skills, eager to tackle complex challenges
- A growth-focused individual, eager to learn, take ownership, and embrace new challenges
