NorthFina is a modern, multi-vertical leasing platform that powers the entire leasing lifecycle—from applications and reviews to contract management, billing, and payments. We support multiple asset types (vehicles, equipment, devices) and serve diverse customers: companies providing employee benefits, individual consumers, dealers, and financial institutions.

We sit at the intersection of technology and finance, building backend systems that handle everything from complex financial calculations and payment processing to regulatory compliance and multi-party relationships. Our platform runs on TypeScript and Azure Functions, but what drives us most is solving real problems in the leasing industry. Every API endpoint, data model, and integration we build directly impacts how leasing operations run and how customers experience the platform.

As we continue expanding our multi-vertical capabilities, there will be opportunities to take on new technical challenges—from building sophisticated pricing engines to integrating with financial systems—and help shape the systems that power modern leasing.

About the role

We are looking for a backend-oriented Software Developer to join our team. If you enjoy coding and slowly but steadily leveling up your skills, we’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need to be loud or super outgoing to fit in here – thoughtful, focused people who like deep work are very welcome. And if you enjoy programming as a hobby, that’s a big plus.

This role is for candidates already based in Uusimaa, Finland. We do not offer relocation or remote work from abroad, so please only apply if you already live in the area or can relocate from within Finland.

What we are looking for

• Solid knowledge of TypeScript
• Interest in backend development (APIs, data models, integrations)
• Interest in DevOps, especially Azure.
• Familiarity with or interest in testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and tackle new technical challenges
• You are based in Uusimaa, Finland
