🔐 Cryptographic Services Specialist – Advanced English – On-site in Luxembourg

📍 Location: On-site in Luxembourg (European Union)

🔒 Eligibility: Only candidates with EU nationality or valid EU work permit

🕒 Duration: Approx. 12 months (extendable)

💼 Contract type: Payroll contract with the client

🔗 Client: European Union public-sector institution supported by a major European consulting & digital services company

🗣️ Languages: English C1 (mandatory)

We are looking for a Senior Cryptographic Services Specialist to support the Data Centres & Private Cloud unit of an EU public institution. The consultant will participate in planning, implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of cryptographic services and secure infrastructure components.

🛠️ Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on cryptographic services and solutions, including integration with applications, platforms, and infrastructure (on-prem & cloud).
  • Support project planning, design, implementation, and oversight.
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, monitoring, and governance.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
  • Supervise managed services and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Improve internal processes and support service reliability.
  • Apply and evaluate security standards across systems.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and project deliverables.

🎯 Mandatory Requirements

  • University degree (EQF Level 7 / Master’s level)
  • English C1 (spoken & written)
  • 10+ years’ experience in:
  • Datacenter infrastructure
  • OS management
  • Network, Storage, Virtualization
  • IT Security
  • 5+ years delivering/supervising IT hosting services, including infrastructure for AI platforms at scale
  • Experience with:
  • Kubernetes & DevOps
  • Managed services supervision
  • Data centre capacity management
  • Agile methodologies

🎓 Required Certifications

  • Thales CipherTrust Manager Professional or equivalent
  • Thales SafeNet Luna HSM7 or equivalent
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft or Linux Certified Systems Engineer
