Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and optimization of scalable data solutions in a cloud-based environment. You will work with AWS, Python, and SQL to build reliable data pipelines, enable analytics initiatives, and contribute to a collaborative hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Lead and design and develop Generative AI solutions, including transformer models, embeddings, and LLM-based pipelines.
- Build and optimize traditional ML models for multiple use cases, ensuring strong data preparation and feature engineering.
- Automate, version, deploy, and monitor data science pipelines using MLOps best practices.
- Communicate analytical results clearly and stay current with trends in AI, ML, and cloud technologies.
- Lead a growing team and support pre-sales activities, including proposal development.
Mandatory Requirements:
- +4 years of previous experience as a Data Scientist, mainly leading roles.
- Experience with GenAI development projects (transformers, embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Experience with Advanced Data Science libraries and Python (NumPy, Pandas, visualize with Matplotlib and Seaborn, build models with Scikit-learn)
- Experience with PySpark and MLOps (model versioning, experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow), deployment, and monitoring).
- Experience with Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Experience with open-source LLMs.
- LangChain, LangSmith ou LlamaIndex.
- Cloud Certifications: Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty).
