Senior .NET Developer - Lisbon

We’re hiring a Freelance Senior .NET Developer for a long-term international project, working on scalable platforms and modern cloud architectures. If you enjoy clean code, distributed systems and solving real engineering challenges, this one is for you.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and evolve backend services in .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Improve and stabilize legacy systems as part of a modernization roadmap
• Design event-driven microservices using Kafka / Event Hub
• Work with SQL + NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB)
• Implement Azure Functions and serverless components
• Write unit/integration tests + participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with Architecture and support frontend teams (Angular)

What You Bring

• Strong experience in C#, .NET Core and distributed systems
• Solid background maintaining legacy applications
• Experience with Kafka / Event Hub (event processing)
• Knowledge of SQL + NoSQL ecosystems
• CI/CD practices, clean architecture, design patterns (DDD/CQRS)
• Based in Lisbon
