📍 Location: Barcelone (Hybrid – 2 to 3 remote days per week)

🎯 Your Role :

As a Backend Engineer within the Cross-Connectors squad, you’ll play a key role in developing and scaling the company’s core platform.

Your main responsibilities include:

• 🔗 Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, secure APIs
• 🐍 Developing robust backend services in Python (Go is a strong plus 💎)
• 🤝 Collaborating with Product and DevOps teams to turn business needs into technical solutions
• 🚀 Ensuring the platform’s scalability, performance, and security
• 🧩 Contributing to technical decisions and architectural discussions

✅ Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Python (Go experience highly valued)
• Solid understanding of API design and third-party integrations
• Good knowledge of SQL + ORM (SQLAlchemy)
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, etc.)
• Strong engineering culture: clean code, testing, CI/CD, agile mindset

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with banking APIs / open banking (PSD2)
• Knowledge of Go, AI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or application security
• Curiosity, autonomy, and a team-first mindset
